I'm not sure how this happens, but it seems that whenever I'm in charge of organizing something, other things seem to present themselves as conflicts. What kind of crazy world are we living in? Why is it that this kind of thing never happens to everyone else? I'm starting feel the rage!

Woah buddies.. I promise it's not only you. I have never had so much drama as I have had in trying to find a date for a wedding... then wedding shower... then baby shower. It's freaking ridiculous!
Pretty soon you just gotta say screw it and use the day that works best for the most people.
Actually, you say screw it and find times that work the best for you; other people can deal with it. Besides, that's what happens when you're in graduate school or involved in a job or family, etc. It's a product of society; people are overscheduled, overstimulated, and burnt out.
